Dec. 7-- The cement truck comes

This pretty much matches the dream of having people come work on your house as you sleep.  When the landscaper rang the door bell at 7 a.m. (to ask us something about the garage) it was apparent that the crew had already been there awhile putting down rebar.   The cement truck was here for about 2 or 2.5 hours. 

Then a large crew of guys did tons of hand work to smooth, shape, and finish the driveway,

walkway,

,

porch (Wow!--it's all one level),

and back walkway.

They also put slabs down for our trashcans in the side yard and on the curb.

I was pretty amazed how fast this part of the project went.  From dirt to done was about 6 hours, with between 5 and 8 men working at one time.
