Dec. 13--  Soil prep and irrigation

This past week, they have been working more on the sprinkler system, drainage, and soil prep.  They dumped a big pile of rocks and two piles of top soil that they been wheeling around the yard.  It smells, but it'll make the grass grow. :)

We haven't taken as many pictures this week--we've been really busy! But here are a few:

This drainage turned out to be more extensive than I first envisioned.  They dug out completely on the other side of the fence and routed the pipes under the public sidewalk and out the outside curb.

The front porch is drying nicely...with no root-inspired elevation changes.

An automatic sprinkler system is better than diamonds and gold in my books!

Couldn't quite get the action shot, but Patrick thought it was very cool when 
they dumped the rocks into the yard.
